The most south western area, jutting into the sea, is the beautiful landscape ranging from the luscious sandy beaches to the rocky and jagged beaches. Best of all, there is a mild climate year round. Water sports are common, mostly sailing and surfing and many international water sport competitions take place. Regardless of the beautiful scenery that brings thousands of tourists per year, it is the poorest area of the UK. Humans however have been present there ever since the Stone Age.
