| Roads around Mawdesley were badly potholed with lots of speeding snobs in Chelsea Tractors. Scenery around there was very flat and featureless. Didn''t really enjoy it. | ||

| I would not use Crabtree Lane, rough with closed level crossing. Like most people I use Tarlscough Lane and Marsh Moss Lane. | ||
