| This is a road route that sticks to quiet picturesque lanes, to avoid busy car routes. It also avoids some, but not all of the hills. It starts at Liss Railway Station off Station Road (B3006) and follows the B3006 North, across the A3. It then cuts off right onto the country road to Greatham. After Greatham there is a short hop on the A325, before turning off left into country roads towards Blackmoor. It is now quiet country roads through Oakhanger and Binsted. There is a short right, left jink on the A31 to take you onto country roads to Lower Froyle, South Warnborough, Upton Grey, Tunworth and over the M3 into Old Basing. You then have a run across to Basingstoke which includes a short section of cycle path. |

| Just started using the first half of this route as I live in Liss and work in Bentley. Some quite nice views on the way. I hate the mile or so on the A325 though. Do it about three days a week, very enjoyable. | ||

| Hi MrC I agree about the bit of the A325, it isnt great. A few off road options can bypass it but not on a road bike. Take it easy. | ||

| What is the 100 yard cycle path all about at the Greatham roundabout, it is safer to use the roundabout like the rest of the road users. 1h 30mins is an excellent time by the way. Have new road bike, normally rike MBK. Presta valves what a pain | ||
