Cycle Steps
1. This is a road route that sticks to quiet picturesque lanes, to avoid busy car routes. It also avoids some, but not all of the hills. It starts at Liss Railway Station off Station Road (B3006) and follows the B3006 North, across the A3. It then cuts off right onto the country road to Greatham. After Greatham there is a short hop on the A325, before turning off left into country roads towards Blackmoor. It is now quiet country roads through Oakhanger and Binsted. There is a short right, left jink on the A31 to take you onto country roads to Lower Froyle, South Warnborough, Upton Grey, Tunworth and over the M3 into Old Basing. You then have a run across to Basingstoke which includes a short section of cycle path.
Landmarks/Sites to see?
Loads of pubs en route but not really in my interests as I use this as a commuting route. Shops Festival Place in Basingstoke.
