| This is a road route, with the option of diverting to canal path and dirt path. To do this you go through the golf course, which passes by a pub at Lostock on the canal. There is a steady climb out of Lostock over the motorway onto the A6. The A6 is flat and steady going, as is the run along Plodder Lane into Farnworth. A bit of traffic to watch out for as you pass across the main road on / off the motorway and then it is undulating, calm road again back to Bury Rd and home. | |
