1. Starting at Carron Bridge (which is really just a hotel), this is a pretty loop with lots of nice views the Carron Valley and various bodies of reservoirs. There is a bit of climbing involved but nothing too strenuous. I did this route when it was pretty windy and that made it quite hard work at times.
The route also goes past the Carron Valley mountain biking track entrance. |
