Cycle Steps
Starting at Carron Bridge (which is really just a hotel), this is a pretty loop with lots of nice views the Carron Valley and various bodies of reservoirs. There is a bit of climbing involved but nothing too strenuous. I did this route when it was pretty windy and that made it quite hard work at times.

The route also goes past the Carron Valley mountain biking track entrance.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Carron Bridge hotel serves good pub food, and this allows you to use their car park as a start point.

Cracking views but i did it anti clockwise and the roads on the way down the northern section of the loop were lethal (in one place a quarter of it had been washed away!).
