Cycle Steps
This is a very challenging, road ride, on a mix of A, B and minor roads, around beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
Head out of Wroughton on the B4005 and follow this to Chiseldon. From Chisledon you get into quiet country roads around Badbury, Liddington, Wnborough, Foxhill and Aldbourne. Then follow the B4192 towards Hungerford, turning right onto the the A4. Follow the A4 through Marlborough, and on till the Avebury turn off to the right. At Avebury join the A4361and head back towards Wroughton.

I live in Wroughton and been cycling this area for 10+ years.
Beautiful countryside, great on a summers evening, low traffic.
This route was planned for a charity cycle.

Hi Genti, I also live in Wroughton and have also cycled just about every road in the area over the last 20+ years.

Could'nt agree more about summer evenings. I have done variations on your route many times. Including going past liddington castle out of Chiseldon and turning off the B4192 at sharp bend for Littlecote avoiding busy A4 traffic.

Great finish as well whistling down Red Barn Hill into Wroughton.
