Cycle Steps
From Woking FC turn right, over Egley roundabout, up Wych hill and on to St Johns. Turn left onto Basingstoke canal and follow until it meets Wey Navigation. Left onto Wey Navigation and follow tow path until trigs lock. Cross over onto lanes, down into Westfield and back to Woking FC. An easy route except from first mile up hill. Can be shortened by going from Woking FC into town centre and picking up Basingstoke canal from there.

That was great fun! Lots of people about, sometimes the path was thin making it hard to pass slow walking people and in some parts bumpy possibly making it unsuitable for racers but all the same, utterly beautiful and it's Sunday I was in no hurry.. Awesome! :o)

Started out from Brookwood Hospital Estate and excellent run along Basingstoke canal. Wey Navigation very sandy between Basingstoke canal and Pyrford (Jul 2010 - very dry). Good route but may need to be cautious of mud/sand depending on whether it is raining or dry. Thanks

This is a great routs along two canals. It's v easy cycling although we went on a sunny Sunday and there were quite a few walkers. Path on bottom canal mainly earth (dry) not too bumpy. A few gates but not many. Path on upper canal mainly tarmac and v easy. Roads between the two not that busy a some cycle paths. Def worth going for. Enjoy!
