Country route mostly B roads. Not too hilly and generally quiet roads. Halfway point being Bramshall. Potential to alter route to encompass Blithfield Reservoir, if desired. Route is generally quite scenic regardless of which.

Several country pubs including Handscare / Barton under Needwood / Abbots Bromley / Walton on Trent / Whittington. Only one pub on offer at Bramshall but offers a reasonably priced lunchtime snacks and meals plus decent selection of real ales!
