North on the sea front to Whitley Bay, onto lower promenade and continue to St Mary's lighthouse. use the track behind the car park to old hartley and again stay on the track behind the caravan park and onto Collywell Bay Road. continue north and onto the cycle path between the sand dunes to Blyth Links. Head west on South Newsham Road until onto Laverock Hall Road and then turn south at the farm gate towards New Hartley.Go through New Hartley and cross over The Avenue road onto the Holywell Dene track. Continue on this track until it goes under Hartley Lane (Beehive Road) and tunr right onto track to Holywell village. Cross over and down the bank onto the lower track and follow towards East Holywell. Follow tracksouth and go under new bypass until reaches Earsdon Road, Shiremoor. cross over onto the wagonway and continue through industrial estates crossing over Silver Fox Way and Middle Engine Lane and then under the A1058 Coast Road until reaches Wallsend Road (A193). Follow A193 into North Shields, past the Magistrates Courts on Tynemouth Road and into Tynemouth. Turn right into Tynemouth village and follow the sea front until finish on Grand Parade. |
