Riding up into Weardale via Hamsterley then all the way to up the North Pennines to Alston in Cumbria then returning down into Teesdale. Awesome scenery and views. Good climbs & descents,

Superb views & scenery, Stanhope or Alston is good for a meal! Some quite busy stretches of road but generally it is light traffic. Some awesome climbs and very fast descents-Carefull! Carry plenty water & fuel as this is a good days cycling.
