Cycle Steps
Begin in Warminster with a gentle road climb towards heavens gate. Follow the woodland track through to Shearwater which is a medium downhill off road.

The next stretch is on road for around 8 miles with a few gentle hills across b roads. Up Whitesheet lane across the top of the hill, quite a rough track but a good steady climb.

The whole way home from there on is downhill through the Deverills

Heavens gate, Shearwater, pubs, shop in Maiden Bradley, pub at Whitesheet lane, the George at Longbridge Deverill.
