| Road Cycle route for training, keeps off main busy routes and passes through some picturesque villages all with pubs.If too tired at Pridhams garage Lamerton, head back to tavistock via Lamerton on main road Starting at Whitchurch road cycle towards Horrabridge until Grenofen, take lane to moorshop and warran cross, head for peter tavy and take the road to sowton town , follow the road to Peter Tavy, carry on towards lane end past the elephants nest to A386 at Mary tavy, Cross the road and head towards Brentor, join the Lydford Road and go in direction of Lydford until route 27 old railway line to bridestowe, Cycle to Bidestowe and join the old A30 and cycle to Lewtrenchard,head towards Chillaton, and pridhams garage, then Gulworthy then Bere Alston, At Hocklake take the Crowndale road past the dump back to Tavistock. Route is around 45 miles and passes loads of pubs |
