Cycle Steps
Mountain bike route around army firing ranges. Mainly on rough roads / tracks but with a final leg by road (though, on reflection a cut through along the Basingstoke canal would have removed a large portion of the road work). Includes a rough road hilly section at about 5km in and a tight track section through the trees along the western edge of the ranges and down to the canal. This section has been signposted by a local MTB club but take careful note of their signs. I missed one and ended up stacked at the bottom of a steep drop with a pond in front of me!
