Early train to Stranraer, then peddle back to Glasgow! Route is hilly and exposed, but so scenic. Reccommend you plan this route properly before you set off, but quickly is stranraer-new luce-taff bridge-glentrool-staiton-dalmellington-patna-drongan-tarbolton-galston-A77-Newton Mearns- Glasgow

Went Glasgow-Stranraer. Pleasant morning, lunch in Strainton before a very challenging afternoon. Reached Stranraer at the very edge of my capabilities. The second half was staggeringly empty and beautiful, and the whole route had very low traffic. Not one to be taken lightly, but very worthwhile.
