I did this ride last week (May 2011) and it was unbelievably hilly throughout. Beautiful scenery though and a lovely long ride but not for a novice. Serious riders only in my opinion. Best part was flying down the snake pass into Glossop. Recommend doing this clockwise and get the BIG hills out the way first.
