Cycle Steps
I started at The New Inn in Sandhurst. Follow the A321 towards Wokingham, under the railway bridge. Take a left to Yateley, passing over the River Blackwater. At the Royal Oak take a left then quick right towards Blackbushe. At the A30 go right, which is west, towards Hartley Whitney. Pass through Hartley Whitney and follow the A30 to Hook.
At the roundabout with the B3348 go left towards Odiham and the M3. Pass over the junction of the M3 and follow the A287 toward Farnham. After 50 Yds take a right signposted Greywell. Follow this road through the picturesque village of Greywell, continue until Upton Grey Road on the left. Follow this road to Upton Grey where you bear left then right after a few yards, following the road to Bagmore & Axford. At the A339 go straight across, toward Bagmore & Preston Candover. At the B3046 go left towards the Candovers (Preston, Chilton & Brown). At Totford do a right towards Kings Worthy & Winchester. Follow this road through to the A33 and go left towards Winchester. At the B3047 take it towards Abbots Barton and Winchester City Centre. As you pass through Winchester look for the road to Romsey B3404 and then A3090 and follow it! This is a meandering A road. Follow it through Romsey and then down to Ower where it meets the M27. Go Over the M27 and follow the A337, which goes alongside the motorway to Cadnam. At Cadnam continue on the A337 toward Lyndhurst.
When you reach Lyndhurst take the A35 towards Christchurch. The more adventurous among you may want to carry on to Brockenhurst and then take the B3055 towards New Milton which will take you through some of the pretty New Forest, rejoining the A337 at Old Milton. then following the coast to Highcliff.
