Nice mixture of rolling countryside with a couple of hills thrown in. The Howgare road is my favourite section with a nice climb towards Martin Drove End, however, you can also get some speed up on the descent.

Be careful when crossing the A354 at Martin and likewise joining the A354 when coming from Rockbourne. If anybody knows a way of avoiding this section please let me know. All in all a lovely countryside ride.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Many pubs, Rockbourne is a lovely place as is the countryside around the race course and out to Broadchalk.

Nice route, agree the Howgare Road part is lovely. For a few more miles you can avoid the A354 after Rockbourne by turning right before Rockbourne, extending Rockbourne>Breamore>Woodgreen>Downton>Alderbury
