| Was going to use this route tomorrow morning but am a little bit confused. Looking at the satellite pictures, I can't quite see how to cross the water after Marland road. Is there some sort of bridge that I haven't seen on the pictures? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! | ||

| Yes there is a bridge over the Canal, it is by the Imperial War Museum and leads over to the Lowry. | ||

| I'm not sure about the section of the route after marland road, I too struggled to get over the water from moss road. Will try again tomorrow. BUT this route would be a lot easier/quicker if you went along the bridgewater canal from sale to marland way/moss road. it's a very smooth route | ||
