This is a very pleasant route. However, you'll find the Long Causeway from Redmires to be unpassable by bike these days. It's a pretty difficult push/carry too without stout hiking boots. And, watch out for those 4by4s! | ||

Agree with the previous post. I've just been out on it and its tricky to carry your bike over the part that runs down alongside Buck Stone. However, it you want to carry the bike, there is a great 'Land of the Dinosaurs' feel to the valley as you head towards Sheepfold. A couple of club runners pasted me as I was carrying my bike and bemoaned the state of the path as well. | ||
