| This is a loop route starting and ending in the village of Pilsley on the Chatsworth Estate. The route takes your from Pilsley along bridleways to Hassop. From Hassop the route joins the road where you will cycle to Longstone along a quiet backroad with nice views. Once in Longstone the tail takes you to Monsall Head where you will join onto the Monsal Trail. After cycling along the trail you will arrive in Bakewell, then you will have a hard uphill ride past the Bakewell golf course and through Bakewell woods. Once at the top of the hill you will be treated with breathtakin views and a nice downhill decent back to Pilsley. Once in Pilsley there is a pub for a well deserved pint! | |
