| The route shown along the north side of the river is along public footpaths, along which you are not supposed to cycle, the section after the Victoria Viaduct being particularly twisty and the section after the WWT has has several set of steps and is again narrow and twisty and a public footpath. If you want to do this route after crossing the Wear continue up the bank with Worm Hill on your left and pick up the C2C route by the school, 200 metres past the Arts Centre | ||
