Crossing and recrossing the North Hampshire Downs this route has some long climbs and several fast descents.

Beautiful countryside including fantastic views from Walbury Hill (although the climb to it is a lung-buster if you as unfit as me!).

From the top of Walbury Hill there is a 7 mile downhill run to Hurstbourne Tarrant which comes as a welcome relief.
