Starting in newton abbot and heading out to kingsteignton, head out towards chudleigh on the "clay pits road" turning left onto clay lane where there is an agriculture machinery plant on your right, the route so far has been mainly flat and steady, following this road all the way to a t junction where you turn left and follow the road which will take you to bovey tracey. At the "fire station" round about turn left and head up bovey straights which is a gentle climb back to drum bridges roundabout where you will go straight across back towards newton abbot, passing stover golf club there is a fairly steep climb for around 500 metres, then a short down hill section before a similar climb upto forches cross, keeping on this road straight all the way towards jetty marsh road which will give a few different routes back into newton abbot. |
