The route begins at Howden Park, Livingston cycling on the road through Blackburn, Whitburn, Harthill,Newhouse, Newarhill, Motherwell, Wishaw, Newmains, Allanton, Shotts,Fauldhouse, West Calder, Polbeth and back to Livingston, this route took me approx 5 hours at a steady pace, the hardest part of the route is cycling from Harthill to Salsburgh/ Newhouse where you encouter a few steep slopes
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Plenty of nice scenery, many places to stop for a drink etc, Toilets at Harthill Service Station and many garages on route, plenty of woodland aswell
