This is a really nice cycle route although i did it in the reverse direction so i could coast down the hill by Windsor Castle rather than climb up it will all the tourists crossing the road.

I averaged 16.7mph on my Trek 1.2 bike and completed it in just under two hours. The route is easily navigable, just remember the major roads and villages you need to go through and it is fairly easy. Just a couple of unmarked T-junctions in the longcross region (Kittsmead lane) that you need to watch out for.

Other than that super Saturday afternoon ride after 100 miler yesterday! Thanks for adding the route - saw plenty of other cyclists out along the way. Roads were nice and quiet!
