| Leave lenzie along the old railway line starting at the end of Garngaber Avenue | |
| Where the path forks go right. | |
| Carry straight along the path until you arrive at the back of a housing estate | |
| Go straight through the housing estate until you come to the park. | |
| Travel through the park and turn right on to Industry Street. | |
| Go past Woodhead Stores on your left and down the lane beside it. | |
| Cross over the main road (Waterside Road) | |
| Travel along the path, cross the bridge, and fork left. | |
| Pass the park on your right handside. | |
| Go across the bridge and turn right to go under the tunnel | |
| Travel through the housing estate and T Junction left then right onto the roundabout. | |
| Go across the roundabout and down the side of the Kirkie Mahal is a path, go along that. | |
| Cross Kilsyth road and continue on the path. | |
| Stay on the path for the next 7 miles. | |
| The path will eventually branch out on to Glen Road. | |
| Travel along Glen Road for half a mile and take a side road right into Campsie Glen | |

| Yeah unfortunately I'm a bit far away from that neck of the woods. The simplicity of this cycle, and the fact you always had a goal, getting to and from Als, made it really enjoyable! | ||

| Al's was brill as far as i remember. If he's still there then pop in and say hi! God knows I miss that ride because I live near blackpool. | ||
