| Start off in Union street Larkhall and head north towards Hamilton, at Hamilton town centre keep left and head up Low Waters road to Eddlewood where you will join with Strathaven road, follow this road to Strathaven. At Strathaven town centre traffic lights turn right onto Lesmahagow road, follow this road through Sandford untill you come to Boghead, at Boghead village turn right and follow straight on untill Teiglum road Lesmahagow, follow this road over the motorway bridge and at the roundabout take the first exit onto the dual carrigeway heading towards Kirkmuirhill, at Kirkmuirhill parish church turn right onto lanark road and follow this road through Auchenheath and onto the clyde valley, at the junction turn left onto the clyde valley road at Hazelbank,follow this road for about 6 miles till you come to the Garrion Bridge, at the bridge take the exit sign posted Kilmarnock A71 and follow this road to the traffic lights at Ayr road, turn right onto burnhead road and once over the motorway bridge turn left onto keir hardie road then right onto hareleeshill road, follow this road till you come to the traffic lights at John street where you will turn right onto Church street, Journey ends. |
