A827 Loch Tay road towards Kenmore then take narrow road before going into Kenmore then join B846 at Bridge over River Lyon by turning Right. Go east and after Weem join narrow road towards Pitnacree and join A827 and turn Right over River Tay bridge then turn Left and join B898 towards Balnaguard and Dalguise. Join A9 and follow signed cycle route 77 to Dunkeld then Birnam. In Birnam take off road track BUT be wary and do not miss the steps up to Dunkeld Station. Next time I will go straight through Birnam and cross over the A9 by dismounting and then joining the B867 (old A9) then after the 2 miles turn Left onto the Pittensorn Road and joining the B9099 turn Right through Murthly then after 1 mile turn Left towards Kinclaven and joining A93 turn Right over River Isla Bridge then next Left towards laystone then onto Woodside then cross over the A94 to wards Campmuir then 3rd Left to Ashley then Right onto the A923 for 5 miles onto Birkhill and home. |
