Set off towards Queen Elizabeth Way. Once over the river turn onto the Teesdale way (New) Follow nature trail down to the river and follow until Preson Park is reached. Nice place with a museum and cafe to stop for a break. Follow main road down to yarm then onto the Leven road. Another goos stopping point is the river at Leven Bridge. i suggest you walk up the hill until you get to the Fox Covert pub. Continue at Roundabout and turn left into Thornaby Road, then at next roundabout turn left into Ingleby Way.

I do a similar route only the other way around and i go from the park up to ingleby but i follow the cycle path and you come out behind the fox covert - you could cut behind it the otherway and use cycle path instead of road :) good route though i like doing that then ride a bit around willey flats snaiths field then back up to eaglescliffe i'm thinking today might be good :) happy cycling!
