Cycle Steps
A nice little ride in the countryside covering cycle paths, some road and some rough terrain so a MTB or Hybrid may be better suited. This route has a bit of everything from level easy going to some steepish sections but overall is not too dificult. Approx 2hrs 30 mins
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Open countryside, good views, plenty of shops just off the main route, you can watch some cricket if you like, close to the river wear

Just moved to Hunwick so thought i would try this route.
Got lost near Ushaw moor but picked up the deerness railway lineroute and that brought me all the way back to Crook, then back to the route and finished back at the Quarryburn. Thanks for a most enjoyable ride. My ride was 18.7 miles mainly on old railway lines and took 2hrs 22 min at a steady pace.Certianly recommend a MB or Hybrid for this route.
