Start Keswick, head towards Whinlatter pass A5292 via A66, turn at sign for Buttermere and turn left onto A5289, follow valley road and singpost to Honister pass, decend (steep) to Borrowdale, follow river headig back to Keswick, the take left turn to Grange cafe. The follow back route to Keswick, passing Derwent Marina, Portinscale, then turn right on A66, then right A5289 for Keswick. | |

Fantastic views all the way round. Real challenge up the 25% Honister pass and the brake blocks were working hard down the other side. Buttermere and Crummock water beautiful. Well worth the effort. | ||
