| Road bike route taking in a variety of flat and hilly roads. Ride from Holton-le-Clay via A16, Louth Road and A1243 into Grimsby . Take the A46, the B1444 and the A1136 past Grimsby Golf Club and head for Healing. At Healing take the Wells Road to the A1173 and go left towards Caistor. At Caistor, use the High Street, B1125, and the A631 to get to Ludford. Continue on the A631 to get to Louth. Go through the town centre and head for Alvingham. At Alvingham head towards Covenham and go right past the reservoir. Pick up the A1031 and go left towards Marshchapel. Turn right off the A1031and head for North Cotes. Pass through the village and take Lock Road and Northcoates Road to Tetney Lock and go over the Louth Canal. Take the Tetney Lock Road past the oil tankers to Tetney. Pass through Tetney and return to Holton-le-Clay. | |
