Training Loop - Starting On Harrow On the Hill - nice sweeeping downhill (a little traffic calming) to traffic lights. Through Harrow/Harrow Weald then gentle 2km climb to top of Clamp Lane - Nice downhill to Uxbridge Road - to Stanmore (cycle lane). Short sharp climb to top of Stanmore Hill - cut across ridge to top of Brockley Hill - V fast down hill (smooth surface).

Back along Uxbrige Road to Stanmore (surface is poor), then another taxing climb to the top of Stamore Hill and the Duck Pond. Cycle through Bushey towards Watford - If traffic is light it is a great, very long, undulating downhill. From Bushey Rail Station there is a very short climb to some traffic lights and then a long downhill to the bottom of Northwood Hill (Sandy Lane).

Left through Oxhey Woods -sweeping downhill (smooth surface) until roundabout. Along Little Oxhey Lane to Oxhey Lane then Lefty on to Grimsdyke Hill (stepped climb -strangely difficult) until top of Clamp Hill. Another great downhill to Harrow Weald roundabout. Continue through Harrow Weald/Harrow to Northwick Park roundabout - straight over to North Wembley roundabout.

Another sharp hill (Sudbury) take a right another longer hill takes you back onto Harrow's Hill - Jobs done 2500ft climbing
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
The famous Harrow School from Northwick Park on the right or passing through on the hill itself. Top of the Grimsdyke has great views and the top of Stanmore Hill has some very quaint houses and ponds. There is a Ahem!! Halfords on the main drag through Harrow and a bike shop on Chalk Hill
