A beautiful ride taking in fantastic views of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. As it’s a circular route you can start anywhere, but I always start at Great Shefford. The route crosses the ridgeway twice, once travelling from Great Shefford to Wantage and again near Liddington. The road between Wanatge and Ashbury is particularly beautiful and at points you should be able to see the white horse at Uffington & Uffington Castle. The route is undulating with some long inclines but nothing too drastic. |
