A charity bike ride once a year on the MoD owned island of Foulness, near Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Riders have a choice of distance from 12 - 23 miles of flat, hard surface roads except for about half a mile of gravel track not suitable for racing tyres.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
The two villages of Foulness are a step back into history as the island has only 200 residents and is normally closed to the public.
