This route has a few short/steep hills but is mostly pretty level with stunning views of the East coast of Scotland. The route passes through Aberdour (A921), Burnt Island, Kirkcaldy, Windygates, Kennoway, (A915/916), Cupar, St. Michaels, Dundee, (A91), Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Barry and Carnoustie with the last 5.5 miles on a cycle track adjacent to the A92. It's about 65 miles in total but take the time to admire the views. |

After exiting Aberdour stop at the Firth of Forth Viewpoint. There are bike shops in Kirkcaldy/Cupar and Dundee if required. The Tay bridge is a fantastic entry to Dundee and the remaining 16 miles follow the coast through nice towns like Broughty Ferry and Carnoustie. |
