Cycle Steps
Ride from Dartford to Farningham. Ride up Gorse Hill past Brands Hatch to the top of Wrotham Hill. Keep on A20 to Aylesford. Go over railway and ride over ancient Medway bridge as road turns sharp right. Over bridge and turn left and keep going thru Eccles to T junction. Turn left towards Burham and towards Rochester. Keep on this road until T junction under A2 Medawy flyover. Turn right uphill into Wouldham Road and head towards Rochester.Turn left into Shorts Way and drop down to river towards Rochester Castle. If you miss this turning just carry on into Rochester High St. Go over Medway bridge and follow signs to Gravesend. Take the Gravesend fork at the top of the hill. Continue on this road until you start to enter Gravesend (large roundabout).Take left exit into Old Road East and stay on this road for a while until cross roads and turn left into Pelham Road. Stay on this road until Hall Road junction at Sainsbury's. Turn left and go over A2 then turn right at roundabout into Station Road. Stay on this road and eventually you meet the Longfield Road where you turn right. Keep on this road back to Dartford. Turn left at Princes Road roundabout and continue back to Dartford Heath.
