This is a nice loop that goes on a mix of A road, country lanes and the Thames Pathways (from Hurley, through Marlow, Bourne End and Cookham). From the start point you follow country lanes across the A4 at Knowl Hill and up to the A4130 by Remenham Hill. Take a right onto the A4130 and follow this to the turn offf for Hurley. Head up Hurley High Street and take a right into Mill Lane and from here get onto the Pathway. Follow this round to Temple Lane into Bisham. Go through Bisham towards Marlow and cross the river on the Marlow Road. Head up the High Street and at the double roundabout take a right into Station Street. Contiue on Station Street until the Mill Road turn off. Follow this down and round to the start of the Thames Pathway. Follow the pathway all the way to Cookham. At Cookham pick up the A4094, cross the river and head along Sutton Road A4094 to Maidenhead. Turn right onto the A4 and head through Maidenhead back to the start. Please be aware that some of areas of this route contains public footpaths and should NOT be cycled on. |
