| Most of this route is fine, just don't bother with the bridle path off Foston Lane to Crow Mills!! It's not a path, it goes straight over a ploughed field! Got about 10 feet across the field and couldn't go any further because of clay like mud clogging up forks and chain!! Had to carry bike 1/2 mile over field. Boots and bike ruined!! Had to wash bike in brook just to turn wheels! Booked bike in to replace crank bearings. Avoid this part of route if not dry! (Go straight down Foston Lane and turn right towards Wigston) | ||
