Heading towards Codsall then at the village head for Perton through Oaken lanes, keep on the Wrottesley park lane miss the town centre but head for Bridgnorth on the main A454 which can be busy so keep alert. Come to a roundabout and head down the descent known as the Hermitage which leads directly to Bridgnorth, have a break by the river Severn with views across the low and high town,
Didn't fancy going up the same hill so decided to head for the A442 and then left onto A458 which had an ascent anyway, turn left back onto A454 but rather than go the same way decided to turn right through the country lanes at the Hobbins, follow the lanes go through the small villages of Broughton, Barnsley , having to come back on th main A454 for a short while at the Wheel, turn left now and head for Pattingham, back to Tettenhall, Wolverhampton
