Circular route mainly on quiet roads and cycle paths, with some good steady climbs. (~ 2 hours) Starts on the MK cycle paths, then onto roads through villages, returning via Woburn deer park and Brickhill woods, before a steep descent into Bow Brickhill and a level warm-down around Caldecotte lake. For a harder ride, go in reverse - the climb up Bow Brickhill into the woods is very steep. There are lots of off-road options in the woods. Caldecotte Arms certainly isn't the best pub in MK, but its very convenient with plenty of parking right by the lake. For decent beer, take a pit stop in Woburn village. |

Please keep to the main road in Woburn deer park. ABSOLUTELY NO off-roading in the park. Watch your speed and give the deer right of way!!! |
