Brighouse Marathon route finishing in the pub before train home. Not good over Ogden Water in the wet. The climb from Slathwaite will hurt but one of the best, fastest downhills around on the final decent and great pubs in Marsden.

This actually forms part of the National Cycle Route 68. Myself and a friend cycled a section of this route in the opposite direction starting in Slaithwaite and ending up in Hebden Bridge. Slaithwaite is a killer which ever way you're going. We started on the hill at the other side which wasn't a great idea for a warm up but the downhill on the otherside was well deserved. Well recommended route!
