Cycle Steps
Bishops Waltham circuit incorporating section of the South Downs Way. Its just over 23 miles long so shouldn't be too difficult, although it does have the odd hill. All on roads so suitable for most bikes. Plenty places to cut the route short if necessary.

Lovely views from Old Winchester Hill. That's praise and a warning all in one go! Old Winchester Hill is 675ft above my house - according to Google maps. Admittedly I'm riding an old mountain bike, but I did enjoy the ride, but found it more tiring than perhaps you would expect from the description.

Just done this ride with my husband, we started from Hedge End so was 38 miles in total. The views were fantastic, and i liked the fact that it was on mostly car free roads, it was however, a tough ride, lots of hills, but we enjoyed it and will do it again.
