| This is a good road route, mainly on A and B roads. From Beeston head past the University on University Boulevard, A6005, and head left on the Ring Road, A52/A6514. Follow the Ring Road, A6514 around Nottingham to the A60 roundabout. Turn left onto the A60 and follow this to the A614 roundabout. Turn right onto the A614, Ollerton Road. Turn right off the A614 at the B6386, Oxton Road. Follow the B6386 through Oxton and stay on this to Southwell. In Southwell, turn right onto the Nottingham Road, A612, and follow this through Thurgaton, Lowdham, Burton Joyce and along the Colwick loop road back into Nottingham. Turn left onto the A60, and go straight across the roundabout onto Canal Street, A6008. Stay left into Castle Boulevard, A6005, and follow the A6005 left as it becomes Abbey Bridge. Follow the A6005 straight over the A52 roundabout and back into Beeston via University Boulevard. |
