| This route is mostly off road, with a few small road sections. There are lots of hills, both up and down, but they are pretty easy rolling. Watch out for horses, they seem a little more scared of us in this area. As it was the beginning of the year, it is a bit muddy in places, so expect to come back dirty. Summer should be much better with just dust. |

| Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see? | |
| Not a great deal of anything on route due to the Barbury Castle cafe being shut, just lots of views. You can take diversions into small villages and you may find a pub or shop. The ride is only 2 to 3 hours so maybe just have a flask in the car or work your way back to civilisation for a recovery stop. |

| Good route. Done it many times myself. Best in summer. In winter the ruts fill with water and can be fairly deep, so beware. | ||
