Cycle Steps
Starting at Balloch and cycling the path that follows the west side of Loch Lomond you see some great views of Ben Lomond and the and islands too. It's a route you can fit in a day as it doesn't take too long. Good for folk wanting to enjoy the loch's views without having to find a place to kip for the night.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Ben Lomond can be seen across the other side of Loch Lomond, you'll be at Luss before you need to have a real break and there's Duck Bay Marina to stop at and enjoy the scenery.

Park at Balloch Shores car park to left and the bike route is right beside you, great route for kids as only one small section is road, I had my Grandson of 7 yearsof age and he completed the route to Luss and back with no problem, took a packed lunch with us and apart from ice cream in Luss the day was free., Going again soon.
