From Balloch marina follow cycle path to Drumkinnon Bay and Lomond Shores visitors centre follow path up north side of car park and join the Old Luss Rd turn right and follow Old Luss Road till rd ends join cycle path and follow to Duck Bay Marina Hotel follow road until junction with A82 is reached turn right to rejoin cycle path follow the path north until a small bridge is reached leave path and join Old Luss Road once again and follow until junction with A82 is reached rejoin cycle path and follow until you can once again join the The Old Luss Road and continue until you reach Luss

Love this route. try taking the route through the Carrick golf course. At the arden roundabout on the A82 take the right turn and then the left (north) and follow the signs for public/cycle access route which goes through the golf course. Then instead of finishing at Aldochlay, do the extra 1/2 mile to Luss.

Too much of route alongside very busy noisy road road.felt much further due to constant climb and poor for passing other users coming in opposite direction. Off road parts very narrow and barely maintained. Thought this was going to be a pleasant run alongside loch but more major speedtrack than tranquil loch
