Cycle Steps
This is a challenging route, that is solely on tarmac, so is ideal for road bikes, that heads over both Baildon and Ilkley Moor.
Although far from easy, the ride offers plenty of quiet country lanes and riverside stops. It also rewards you with some of the most outstanding views in the area, including the Cow and Calf Rocks.
There are a number of possible refreshment stops, to help you recuperate from all your efforts, notably the riverside cafe at Ilkley and the cafe and shop at Otley. You'll also want to stop and admire the view at the Cow and Calf Rocks, the legendary millstone grit outcrop at Ilkley Moor Quarry.
Please be aware that you will definitely need to bring your climbing legs for this ride!
